Summer is just around the corner

Summer here in Denmark is almost approaching, I just have to pass some exams first. It has been a bit difficult to plan my summer vacation, not knowing the official dates of my exams. During the waiting time I try keeping my head high listening to good music and spending time with friends.

If in Copenhagen I'd like to recommend some place to go, now that the weather is improving! These are also things I have in mind to do in the nearest future.

Sakura Festival 24-25th Langelinie
If you want to see the beautiful summer tree blossom and relax in sun whilst having a picnic - then this definitely the place to go! There's also a lot of events occurring which you watch while enjoying a Japanese lunch.

Kødbyen
This is for any time you want to go have a nice quality meal, and also during night time when you want to pimp drinks with your friends. Definitely one of my favourite places during summer.

Papirøen
It's right beside the opera house, and you can do yourself a favor and take the boat bus out there. The place is urban and you can fetch a meal for almost no money. If sunny there's plenty of space to sit outside and chill.

Kongenshave
This is a must! Take a blanket and a bottle of something nice and you're good to go. There's no better feeling than the feel of grass underneath you - so take your friends with you and enjoy the great park.
